Board and Bevy Summer Game Jam!

Have you ever wanted to make your own boardgame, roleplaying game, miniatures game, or something in-between? Join us for our first Summer Game Jam!

We will meet once a month(more if everyone wants to), to come together as a community and make, test, and constructively critique each others' games.

How does it work?

The jam will begin with a kick-off to introduce the event, its purpose, and any constraints or themes.

Participants may form teams or work individually. Then a theme, mechanic, and one other constraint will be revealed.

Teams can then brainstorm game ideas and develop the basic gameplay ideas. Throughout the jam, participants will work to create a prototype of their game. The team plays the prototype, identifies any issues, and refines the game's rules, mechanics, and balance. Throughout the jam, we plan to hold monthly meet-ups to show off our progress and help each other by playtesting.
